Unhappy PCV replacement

Hi everyone! I'm river rat, new to this forum. I own a 2005 F250 SD. w/5.4l engine. I need to replace the PCV valve, and was told I have to replace the valve cover to do so. Does anyone know a way to replace PCV without replacing valve cover?

Welcome to FTC!

There is no PCV valve as such, it's a fixed orifice.
