Post VIN Decoding - 2008 F-150/Mark LT

This information comes direct from my 2008 Ford F-150, Mark LT Workshop Manual. The information in there covers F150 and Mark LT.

Your VIN is located in a couple places. One will be viewable from the outside of the vehicle, located at the bottom of the windshield on the drivers side. You have to look through the windshield to see it. The other place is located on the Vehicle Certification Label, which will be located on the B pillar (where the drivers door latches) or on the drivers door itself. This label also has certain codes at the bottom, and what the stock tires size were at time of build completion, what PSI to inflate to, what size the wheels are, and the weight rating of the axles.
